Planned giving is a wonderful way to ensure a strong future for The Bear Creek School and its mission, while also accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. Legacy gifts provide flexibility to donors while supporting future generations of students through foresight and thoughtful planning.
Legacy gifts can take on a variety of forms and can include:
- IRA charitable rollovers
- Real estate
- Life insurance
- Retirement planned assets
- Will or trust bequest
- Life income gift
PLANNED GIVING: BEQUEST AND GIFT INTENT FORM
To help you get started on your plans and legacy, we have partnered with FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It is easy to use, accessible online, and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this resource on its own or to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.

PLANNED GIVING: BENEFICIARIES
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? These are called non-probate assets, and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate The Bear Creek School as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.
Legacy Circle
The Bear Creek Legacy Circle recognizes donors who have made planned giving to Bear Creek part of their philanthropic strategy. Legacy Circle member benefits include priority communication from Bear Creek leadership and invitations to special events throughout the year.
