Dear Early Middle School and Middle School Parents,
The recent Authors & Artists event was a beautiful celebration! What an opportunity to witness the lives of students unfold through art. I was moved by the simplicity of the sweet Preschool pieces, impressed by the maturity of the Early Middle School pieces, and amazed by the complexity and deep meaning in the Middle School and Upper School pieces. There is no way to fast forward the maturity and development of students. They must take their time as they learn the basic elements of art before beginning to take risks and moving on to express their hearts and minds through their artwork.
This movement through the grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric stages is evident in all we do at Bear Creek. I am proud of the students for their willingness to work hard, strive to meet expectations, and learn in all situations. I am humbled by the tireless efforts of our teachers to nurture each individual student, and I am so appreciative of you for supporting your children and their teachers. It has been a great year!
Please read this Update for information about the last weeks of the school year.
