Congratulations! We enjoyed celebrating the Class of 2021 last weekend. This Update is full of important links for downloading photos and video and sharing your accomplishments with your family and friends.

Gown Return

If you have not done so already, please return your gown in the Upper School’s Nagel Commons by Wednesday, June 16. The office closes at 3:00 p.m. Graduates may keep the cap, tassel, and honor cord(s).

Senior Capstone Projects

Presentation recordings are available on the 2021 Capstone channel in Stream. Graduates may access this channel to watch their own presentations and those of their classmates. Since Stream is not a public platform, family members must watch from a student account. As Dr. Calvery indicated last week, graduates may request copies of their presentation recordings by completing this form no later than Wednesday, June 16. She will make the recordings available by June 25.

Please note that graduates’ student accounts are active until June 30, after which you will no longer have access to Bear Creek’s Microsoft 365 apps, including Teams.

The “Most likely to…” slideshow is usually shown to seniors and their families at An Evening of Honors, but due to the outdoor venue, this year the seniors watched it during last Friday’s breakfast. Families may use the link watch the slideshow online.

Social Media

All the senior class social media content has been uploaded to Vidigami. For links to all the stories on Facebook and Instagram, review this document.

Throwback and More

Kellie Anderson has uploaded hundreds of old photos to Vidigami from the Class of 2021's earlier years at Bear Creek, including pictures from kindergarten and Shakespeare drama performances, Walk-a-thons, and more. Also, be sure to use the drop down menu on the Groups tab to change the year and find photos from as far back as the 2015 – 2016 school year when this class was in grade 7.

If you have questions about accessing Vidigami, go to the MyBC/Parents page and review the tutorial on how to use it. Accounts must be activated by logging in before June 30 using the Vidigami button on the MyBC/Parents page. After your account is activated, you will not lose access even though you/your student has graduated.

An Evening of Honors

Photographs taken by school photographers at An Evening of Honors are being uploaded to Vidigami. Check out the album in the Grade 12 group. Keep checking back as our photographers are still processing images.

Purchase prints or digital images from Nation Photography, our official Commencement photographer, including diploma portraits, class photos, and Commencement event pictures.

Photographs taken by school photographers at Commencement are being uploaded to Vidigami. Check out the five (5) albums in the Grade 12 group. Keep checking back as our photographers are still processing images.

Note: Vidigami V3 is launching on Monday, July 5. As part of the service migration, Vidigami will be inaccessible starting at midnight ET on Saturday, July 3, for up to 48 hours.

Coming Soon

Recordings of both An Evening of Honors and Commencement will be available for download from Dropbox by Monday, June 21 (possibly as early as Friday, June 18). Please download your copy before July 30. Videos will be archived at that point and will no longer be accessible.
