On Friday, December 15, the Preschool office closes at 11:45 a.m. and the Main and Upper School offices close at 12:30 p.m. No classes will be held Monday, December 18, through Monday, January 1. Classes and regular office hours resume on Tuesday, January 2.

Early-bird pricing on 2023 – 2024 Middle School and Upper School yearbooks expires on Friday, December 15. Yearbooks are sold online only ($45 each through December 15). On December 16, the price goes up.
Bear Creek will host an SAT School Day administration for juniors on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Online registration will open the first week of January and will run until February 10. Details to come.
Middle School News
In November, 13 Middle School students participated in the American Mathematics Competition (AMC) 10. We are proud of our students for challenging themselves to sit for this comprehensive exam and want to recognize the three top-preforming Middle School students in our local competition:

Registration for the 2024 Battle of the Books is now open for students in grades 5 – 6 and 7 – 8.
- The grades 7 – 8 battle will take place Wednesday, February 7. The deadline for registration is Monday, January 15.
- The grades 5 – 6 battle will take place Thursday, March 14. The deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 31.
Lower School News
On Tuesday, December 12, Bear Creek will host two concerts in the Main building's Cornerstone Theater. Students in grades 1 and 2 will perform a Christmas concert for their families at 5:30 p.m. Please drop off your child in his or her classroom at 5:10 p.m. Then, at 7:00 p.m., students in grades 3 and 4 will perform a Christmas concert for their families. Please drop off your child in his or her classroom at 6:40 p.m. Read more for details about dress code, streaming, parking, etc.
On January 11 and 12, 2024, future Grizzlies cheerleaders in grades K – 4 are invited to participate in the two-day Jr. Grizzlies Cheer event with the Grizzlies cheer squad. Learn more and pay the registration fee ($30) by December 15.

Our after-school program, Bear Creek Plus for students in grades K – 4, resumes the week of January 16. Winter term enrichment classes are available Monday – Thursday and run through the week ending March 18. Register now!
Preschool News
Preschoolers will present their Christmas program at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, in the Main building's Cornerstone Theater which is located at 8905 208th Ave NE, Redmond, on Union Hill. Read more for details about dress code, drop off, streaming, parking, etc.
To celebrate the Christmas season, Preschool students are invited to dress up on Thursday, December 14, or Friday, December 15. Each class will have a Christmas party at the end of their class day. Students will participate in fun activities designed by our Room Moms and teachers. Read more for schedule.
Due to Christmas Break, preschoolers will have no cubs club on Friday, December 15. Dismissal will start at the regular time of 11:30 a.m.
Athletics News
Early-bird registration for the Redmond North Little League (RNLL) 2024 spring season begins Tuesday, December 5, and ends Friday, January 5. Read more for details.
