Free Dress: On “free dress” days, students may wear non-uniform attire appropriate for a school setting. The hems on skirts, dresses, shorts, and skorts must be consistent with uniform general guidelines. Students are to refrain from wearing any clothing displaying advertisements for alcohol, cigarettes, weapons, or drugs; nor should clothing display rude, inhumane, or otherwise inappropriate text or graphics. Grizzly Spirit Dress: Dress in your wildest Grizzly spirit gear and celebrate your Grizzly spirit! Students may dress in any green or white clothes they would like. Show your school spirit with fun accessories, hair color, etc.
LS Grade-Level Shirt: Students may wear their Grade-Level Shirts and free dress bottoms. Students may also choose to wear their casual uniform if they wish. Grade-Level Shirts are provided to students at the beginning of the school year. Each grade level has its own specific color Grade-Level Shirt, e.g., yellow for kindergarten, light blue for grade 1, red for grade 6, etc.
Holiday- or Color-Specific Dress: Occasionally, students may wear free dress with a color theme, e.g., pink to support Dig Pink volleyball matches, green for St. Patrick’s Day, red for Valentine’s Day, orange to support World Vision, etc. Students may embrace the color theme as completely (head to toe) or minimally as they wish.
MS Bear Creek T-shirts: Students may wear the Bear Creek T-shirt of their choice with free dress bottoms.
US House Colors Day: Students wear as much of their House color as possible! Students may wear House sweatshirts and T-shirts as well as pants, jewelry, wigs, and more in their House color. House colors are worn for Icebreaker, House Feasts, House Challenges, and Field Day.
Dressy Dress: Students should wear dressy attire meaning dresses or dressy blouse and slacks/skirts for girls and dress pants and button-down shirts, with or without ties, for the boys. Students should not wear school uniforms. (Typically specified for Christmas concerts, spring concerts, and Mothers Tea.)
