$30 fee per child
Recommended for girls grades 4 – 6.
Class will be capped at 35 mom/daughter pairs. Only one parent, preferably mom or adult female relative, per child may attend. See also A Boy's Guide to Growing Up.

This class is designed to help children understand the how, when, and why of puberty in a comfortable, age-appropriate setting and give parents a chance to learn alongside their child and gain tools to navigate important conversations. This class is also open to newly enrolled students, potential students, or friends who are interested in the content being provided with a Christian worldview.

Class Objectives

  • Understand normal growth and development, including the physical and emotional changes that happen during puberty
  • Learn about the anatomy and physiology of the human reproductive system and human reproduction
  • Learn about the menstrual cycle, what to expect during a period, and how to manage it
  • Explain how to maintain a healthy body through personal hygiene, healthy living, and making good choices
  • Assist parents in communicating the right information to their children as they enter puberty
