Dining Services
Bear Creek uses Lunchtab as our school dining services system.
Using this integrated web-based platform, parents will view the weekly lunch menus, preorder lunch for Lower School students, review their family's dining history, and add money to their family's dining account*. Lunchtab may be accessed from any browser, whether on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
Click the "Veracross" button and enter your Veracross Parent Portal credentials. New families will receive access to Lunchtab in the summer.

Food-From-Home Guidelines
REMINDER TO BE FOOD ALLERGY AWARE AT SCHOOL
Although we are not a nut-free facility, in an ongoing pursuit of safety at school, we ask you to refrain from sending food containing nuts into the classroom or areas other than the lunchroom.
While there is a nut-free table in the cafeteria, such accommodations are not available in the classrooms (during class parties) or on field trips. Consequently, on rainy days when students often eat snacks in the classroom and on field trips where students eat lunch in groups, those with nut allergies could be at an increased risk of exposure. We ask you to keep this in mind when sending your child to school with a snack/lunch or when bringing in treats for birthdays or classroom parties.
Any food brought onto campus to share with other students (birthday celebrations, room parties, Advisory snacks, final exam treats, etc.) must be nut-free and should include an ingredient list. For more information, please refer to our Family Handbook (on MyBC/Parents).
Students are reminded to not share food from their own lunches and provided an opportunity to wash hands before and after eating.
About Dining Services
The Dining Services team at Bear Creek plans, prepares, and serves meals to nearly 400 students and employees each day. As a dedicated team of culinary professionals, our goal is not only to offer a nutritious and delicious variety of lunch options but to do so joyfully, reflecting the school's mission as we interact with students and employees.
Both the Main and Upper School kitchens provide gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian alternatives daily, and the Main kitchen’s bistro bar affords Middle School students the opportunity to select ingredients for made-to-order salads, sandwiches, and wraps. However, due to the variety of food prepared in Bear Creek’s kitchens, The Bear Creek School is unable to provide detailed ingredient lists. Students with food allergies are advised to bring lunch from home. See the Family Handbook for additional information.
If you have questions about dining services or would like to tour the kitchen, please contact Kitchen Manager Jenny Vessey at jvessey@tbcs.org.
