Summer Assignment

Welcome to AP Physics 1! This year we will jumpstart the course by covering one chapter over the summer using an online College Physics textbook. The assignment that follows takes you through the first chapter, Introduction: The Nature of Science and Physics, step by step.

Instructions

1. Access the OpenStax online College Physics textbook. Be sure to take advantage of the interactive nature of the online text! Do not print or download a PDF of the textbook! Use the online version only.

2. Read through Connection for AP Courses and all of the four sections in Chapter 1.
3. Download the assignment.

4. Write or type your answers to the questions and bring them to class on the first day.
