Middle School (5 – 8)

Middle school students are curious, open, adventurous, vulnerable, and often unpredictable. To meet these needs, our Middle School program is predictable, supportive, fun, challenging, and caring. We focus on knowing and valuing each student so we can meet their individual needs and help them grow in knowledge and virtue. At this age, students need many opportunities for discussion and often learn best by being active. This is considered as we plan instruction and programs. We recognize that students in grades 5 and 6 are developmentally different than students in grades 7 and 8, therefore, our daily and weekly schedules, curriculum, teaching strategies, and student life programs are tailored to meet those unique needs.
