Learning Plan During School Closures

Preschool and Lower School

If we have extended consecutive school closures (beyond a week), Preschool and Lower School teachers will communicate with families by Teams post and provide optional asynchronous learning assignments.

Middle School

Beginning the third day away from class, teachers will communicate with students via Teams to provide asynchronous resources and assignments.

Teachers will also offer Office Hours to assist students. Teachers will communicate available times via Teams.

If we have extended consecutive school closures (beyond a week), teachers may offer remote instruction in addition to asynchronous resources and assignments.

Upper School

Beginning the third day away from class, teachers will contact students via Teams to direct them toward material they can be working on from home to prepare for upcoming assessments. Students should check their class Teams for messages from the teachers.

Some teachers may offer to meet remotely during their regularly scheduled block and others will provide asynchronous assignments and resources that will help students toward a better understanding of course material. We realize that not all students will be able to attend remote classes should they be offered, however checking for assignments and teacher expectations through your class Team is expected.

Some teachers may also offer Office Hours during the day to assist students as they prepare for upcoming final exams. Teachers will communicate available times via Teams.
