Track & Field team

Junior Quinn Smith took fourth place overall in the javelin with freshman Anna Stchur also competing in the 1600, and 3200m races. As a team, the girls finished with 45 points which earned the team a third-place spot on the podium.

Not to be outdone, the boys managed records of their own! Sophomore Austin Chu competed in 4 events (100m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m relay) finishing in the top 11 in all four races. Junior William Hartshorn ran in both the 800m and 1600m as well as the 4x400 relay placing in the top nine in all three races. Senior Will Rosu competed in the 100m finishing in thirteenth. And saving the best for last, the 4x400 relay team (junior William Hartshorn, sophomores Cameron Piepkorn and Austin Chu, and freshman Findlay Hartshorn) ran the race of their lives in the finals, setting a school record and blowing away the field for a State title!
