2019 WA State High School Photography Contest Honorees

Eight Bear Creek photography students were recognized by the 2019 Washington State High School Photography Contest. There were nearly 4,000 entries. Senior Kathryn Horvath's entry in the People category was named a Finalist (top-18), and she also received Select (top 10%) recognition for her entries in the Portrait, Documentary, and Abstract categories. Seven more students' entries received Select ribbons in the indicated categories: freshman Andrew Lebedinsky (Abstract), freshman Tess Bumiller (Architecture, Landscape), junior Matthew Jensen (Landscape, Architecture), sophomore Amy Anderson (People), freshman Mckenna Mullet (Still Life), freshman Domenic Dedomenico (Abstract), and freshman Nathan Shields (Animal).
