Girls Cross Country Qualifies for State

The girls cross country team placed third at the Bi-District Cross Country Championship Meet on October 29 at South Whidbey HS behind podium finishes by three runners. Sophomores Andrea (19:54.79) and Olivia (19:56.38) Markezich placed second and third respectively, and senior Angela Tzen (20:54.11) placed eighth. The team will compete at the State Championship Meet tomorrow at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco. The boys team placed 12th; sophomore Alex Finan (18:38.04) was the fastest Grizzly with the 39th place finish.
