Congratulations to Spring Sports Season State Qualifiers

Congratulations to all our spring season teams and athletes who are competing this week in their State Championship events!

The Growls (Overlake-Bear Creek) baseball team is headed to the Final Four after bringing in big wins over Cascade Christian (4-0) and King's Way Christian (4-1) in the regional round of the State Tournament held in Anacortes on May 21. Next up: State Semifinal vs. Vashon Island, 7:00 p.m. at Yakima County Stadium. Follow the State Tournament bracket online. Also the Redmond-Reporter wrote a nice article about their wins at the District Tournament.

The Razzlies (Forest Ridge-Bear Creek) softball team defeated Highline (18-1) and Kingston (5-1) on May 19 in the West Central/SeaKing 2A District Tournament to clinch a State berth. Due to the rain out, the State brackets are not available quite yet. Check WIAA tournament page.
