Please consult the school website and Family Handbook (login on MyBC/Parents, 2020 – 2021 edition will be published very soon) for the most up-to-date policies on COVID-19, as they change frequently.

In general, please come to school if your child can energetically participate in classroom and recess activities without the use of symptom-reducing medication and has had no symptoms of illness in the past 72 hours or been diagnosed with or been in close contact (any individual within six feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone who has confirmed or suspected COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Stay-at-Home Policy: Your child should stay at home/will be sent home from school if he/she exhibits any symptoms of COVID-19.

Returning to School After Illness: Students should be symptom-free for 72 hours prior to returning to school. Parents must notify the school nurse Lea Hysom (lea.hysom@tbcs.org) if you or a family member becomes ill, tests positive for COVID-19, or has concerns about a COVID-19 exposure. Clearance by the school nurse is also required to return to school. Please see the Family Handbook and COVID-19 guidelines and protocols for more information.

Contact Information: Please remember to update your Household Profile on the Parent Portal so we may contact you if necessary. Also, ensure the emergency contact information provided for each child is current. Instructions included in Back-to-School Registration.
