Frequently Asked Questions
What do I do if...
I arrive before the assigned drop-off window?
To make your wait time as short as possible, keep the line moving efficiently, and avoid backing up onto 208th Avenue NE, it is helpful if parents arrive on campus during their designated drop-off or pick-up window according to the first letter of your last name. Lining up early causes long back-ups and complicates the drop-off and pick-up system for other divisions. If you arrive before your assigned time, please pull into a parking spot in the front lot until the beginning of your drop-off window.
It does not work for my schedule to drop off/pick up at the assigned time?
Using the assigned times helps our drop-off/pick up process run efficiently and keeps wait times shorter for all, so please do your best to come at the assigned time. Please contact Lower School Division Assistant Cady Reimer (email@example.com) or Early Middle School and Middle School Division Assistant Carol Willard (firstname.lastname@example.org) to request an alternate time slot.
I have children in multiple divisions with different start and end times?
This year there is a shorter gap between the drop-off and pick-up times for the various divisions, so one option is to pick up your older child and then get in line to pick up your younger child. Alternately, you may sign up for drop-off and pick-up supervision for your children. If space allows, we will open registration to all families.
I have a kindergartener with a 2:30 p.m. pick-up time and other LS students with later pick-up times?
Your kindergartener may wait in his/her classroom until siblings are picked up.
I have a kindergartener with a 2:30 p.m. pick-up time and other EMS/MS students with later pick-up times?
You can pick-up your kindergartener at 2:40 p.m. and then join the EMS/MS pick up line and wait for dismissal to begin at 2:55 p.m.
