Hour of Code
-
Ida Lairson and Kindel Libraries

The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code, to show that anybody can learn the basics and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with one-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. More than 100 million students have tried an Hour of Code. Hour of Code is a parent-child event designed to allow students to experience coding for the first time or continue their coding journeys. Each child will use a computer/device. If you can bring one, please do. If you can't, we will provide one.

Seating is limited. RSVP online to reserve seats for you and your child.
