Pre-registered sophomores and juniors will sit for the PSAT/NMSQT exam on Monday, October 19, in the Main Commons. Students should arrive at the Main building no later than 7:45 a.m. for check-in (test starts at 8:00 a.m.) and expect to be finished by approximately 11:00 a.m.
Note: Students will not be able to access phones or backpacks at any point during the exam or break. Students are encouraged to leave these items with their parents.
Preparation for the Test
Ten days prior to the test, all students must download and install the Bluebook app to their devices. Do not log in to Bluebook with your College Board account. Students will need a personalized log-in ticket, which may be picked up at the Upper School reception desk. Once logged into Bluebook, students should complete Exam Setup. Students can also complete a full-length digital practice test.
All students should bring the following to the test:
- A fully charged laptop and power cord
- An approved calculator
- Pens and/or pencils (for scratch work)
- Snacks
- Water bottle
Scores will be mailed to all Bear Creek students in mid-December, and the results will be uploaded into Naviance Student.
