- The Teenage Years
On October 24, 2025, Bear Creek hosted its seventeenth annual Dig Pink volleyball event in a packed gym filled with fans wearing pink in support of breast cancer awareness and the Side-Out Foundation. Thanks to ticket, T-shirt, and concession sales, the volleyball program raised $3,069 for the Side-Out Foundation to help fund breast cancer research and treatment!
We are grateful to our guest schools, Seattle Christian and Willows Prep, for joining us on the court, and to the athletes, fans, parents, pep band, and volunteers who contributed. This tradition began 17 years ago as a way for our community to unite around something bigger than the game, and that spirit was alive and well this year.
The night held even more reason to celebrate! Varsity Volleyball capped off the event with a decisive 3-0 victory over Seattle Christian. The win marks Bear Creek’s third in their last four matchups, improving their season record to 5-10.
Live on purpose. No regrets. That is the theme of Dig Pink this year. Thank you for being part of this important cause and for showing what it means to be Grizzlies together.
