Community
The Bear Creek School encourages parents to participate by attending events, volunteering in the classroom or for other school activities, helping with specific projects, or serving with parent groups. Your expertise, time, and resources are investments in our students and give you an opportunity to make an impact on children whose lives will be profoundly shaped by their days at our school. By getting involved, you meet other parents and deepen your connection to our community.
A list of various opportunities and a volunteer sign-up form are sent electronically at the beginning of the school year. Classroom volunteer needs will be shared by teachers in the fall. Throughout the school year, volunteer needs will be listed periodically in The Bear Facts newsletter or via email.

Ways to Get Involved
Support from the Bear Creek community is instrumental to the ongoing academic and financial health of the school and assures that we will continue to nurture and support each student now and for generations to come.
Volunteer
Volunteers gain the opportunity to get to know one another, learn more deeply about the school, share their expertise and passions with the community, and live their commitment to their child’s education.
Join
At The Bear Creek School parents are an integral part of the school community and their student's education. Parents are in partnership with the school for the purpose of enabling each child to become the individual that God intends.
Pray
We are grateful for the spiritual encouragement and protection your prayers provide. If you would like to pray in community with others, look for Moms in Prayer on the school calendar.
Support
When we team up to support Bear Creek, amazing things can happen! Every year we invite our community to make a tax-deductible gift that directly impacts faculty and students year-round by helping provide a robust learning experience.
Partner
Bear Creek has selected two non-profit organizations with which to partner on an ongoing basis: Hopelink and World Vision. Partnering with these organizations allows us to incorporate curricular strands, student leadership opportunities, and full-school involvement.
Grandparents
Bear Creek recognizes the unique relationship between grandchildren and their grandparents. We honor those relationships through special activities throughout the school year, including Grizzly Grams and complementary lunch.
