The Bear Creek School

Dear Parents,

As the school year wraps up, I want to remind you that the last school event for all Upper School students is the Honors Assembly on Thursday, June 7. This assembly provides a special opportunity to celebrate the achievements and hard work of all Upper School students and honors many individual successes within the our community. Additionally, there is a ceremonial passing of leadership from the senior class to the junior class. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors should wear their DENNIS dress uniforms. Seniors should wear dressy/professional clothing.

The school day will begin at the regular time of 8:10 a.m. Students will have the opportunity to sign yearbooks, return textbooks, and clean out their cubbies before the assembly begins.

The Honors Assembly will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The recipients of many of the awards will not be announced until their presentation at the Honors Assembly on Thursday. This ceremony is the culmination of the 2017-2018 school year at Bear Creek.

Parents are encouraged to attend the assembly; no RSVP is necessary. We look forward to celebrating our students' achievements with you.

Grace and peace,

Patrick Carruth
