Dear Parents,
I hope this note finds you invigorated by the fresh start of a new year! The turning of the calendar often brings new resolutions and goals. I know one of my personal goals as a parent is to connect more with my kids on the topic of social media and smartphones, as this is such a huge part of being a teen today!
I am excited to share an amazing learning opportunity that just came up for Bear Creek parents with children in grades 5-12.
Smartphone Sanity Training
with David Eaton, co-founder of Axis

In addition, later the same morning, David will also speak to Upper School students at Chapel, encouraging and challenging them to navigate the world of smartphones and media with honor and grace.
David is an engaging and thoughtful communicator, and his parent session will include the latest research and many tips to help you engage your children and teens about this important aspect of their lives. Every year Axis speaks to 20,000+ students face-to-face, and every week Axis' digital products equip 50,000+ pastors, parents, grandparents, and teachers with current, relevant information that gives insight into a teen’s world and skills to help navigate it.
