Upper School Fall 2018 Class Schedules Posted

Dear Upper School Students (and Parents),

 

I am writing to remind you that your fall semester schedule of classes is available online. Students may log in on the MyBC/Students page and use the "My Student Portal" button. New students received their website (and portal) credentials via email at the beginning of August. Parents may log in on the MyBC/Parents page and click the "My Parent Portal" button to see their child(ren)'s classes. 

 

Between now and the first day of school on Wednesday, August 29, minor tweaking of student schedules may be possible. If you would like to make a schedule adjustment, please contact me at registrar@tbcs.org, with the desired changes (add/drop). Please note that it may not be possible to satisfy your request because of class size limits or conflicts with other classes that you have selected. I will confirm in writing if the requested change is made.

 

On the first day of school, each student will receive a printed copy of his/her schedule but will not attend regular academic classes; instead, students will be involved in the Upper School Convocation and various House activities. Air quality permitting, students will attend Icebreaker on the following two days, then the regular 6-period rotating schedule begins on Tuesday, September 4.

 

Reminder: Students enrolled in study hall should check in at the Upper School main office at the beginning of the class period. Students will enter their Student ID numbers into Raptor to take attendance.

 

If you wish to make changes to your schedule after school starts, you must submit a Petition to Add/Drop a Course. Add/drop requests must be made by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, September 24. After that time, a change will be reflected on the transcript as Withdraw/Pass or (after October 25) Withdraw/Fail.
