Ways to Get Involved

Bear Creek alums, you are a part of our history and will always be a part of the Grizzly community here in Redmond and within the ever growing global community of alumni. We hope you will stay in touch with your classmates, teachers, coaches, and the school. Take a moment now to remain connected with the Bear Creek community by updating your contact information so you will receive invitations to alumni events and the Modus Vivendi magazine. We also invite you to join our Facebook page, or get involved in one of the ways listed below. You are always welcome to stop by campus and visit any time.

Send us a Class Note

New job? Wedding? Award? Invention? Share what is happening in your life with your Bear Creek family. Using the form or via email, send us a quick note and a photo, if you have one, and we will publish it in the next issue of Modus Vivendi. If you are willing to be interviewed for a feature story, let us know!

Be a College Connector

Remember the college search process and the difficulty of looking at schools, finding out information about them, and then deciding on one? You can help current Bear Creek students in their college search by becoming a College Connector. All you need is a willingness to share your experiences and answer questions about your university. It’s a great way to connect with current students and give them a broader view and perspective about the colleges that may interest them. If you’d like to participate, fill out the online form or contact Lori Lee.

Senior Capstone Class Panelist

Interested in sharing your life experiences with seniors by participating on an alumni panel during their Capstone class? With a perspective of the past, and an appreciation for the future, you can inspire our seniors. Past topics have been:

  • Life after Bear Creek – beyond the basics of choosing a college and living as an adult;
  • Following your passion, finding your place in the world, serving God/the community, being a BC alum;
  • Navigating challenges as a young man/woman in Christ in contemporary society.

Panels are held in the spring during class. For more information on becoming a panelist contact Debbie Marchione.

Alumni Leadership Committee

Do you have ideas for alumni activities? Do you want to help plan upcoming events? Consider becoming involved with the Alumni Leadership Committee. You do not need to live in the Puget Sound area to serve on the Committee. Contact Debbie Marchione for more details.

Help Plan Your Reunion!

Once a Grizzly, always a Grizzly, and whether it has been 5, 10, or even 15 years since you graduated from Bear Creek, we want to help you reconnect with your fellow Bear Creek classmates. The Alumni Office is here to help with any reunion planning. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming; we can provide class lists, invitation suggestions, printing, mailing labels and postage, swag, a school tour, and publicity. Contact Lori Lee, Alumni Relations Manager, to start planning your reunion.

Organize an Area Meet-Up

Get together with other alumni in your area. We can help with how-tos, contact lists, and ideas that have been successful. It can be as easy as getting together at Starbucks or a favorite restaurant. Please contact Lori Lee if you would like assistance.
