Our Grizzlies are headed to State, and we want our entire community there to cheer them on! Bring your Grizzlies spirit and your green & white as we rally behind our boys and girls teams on the biggest stage of the season. Follow along with the WIAA 1A State brackets:
Grizzlies Fan Information
The WIAA Live App is the easiest way to stay updated with brackets, scores, schedules, and livestream links. The WIAA also provides a “Know Before You Go” guide covering tickets, policies, and fan expectations. We encourage all parents and students to review it before traveling. Fans should purchase tickets for the WIAA 1A State Basketball Tournament online in advance.
Upper School Rooter Bus
On Wednesday, March 4, students in grades 9 – 12 are invited to ride a Rooter Bus from Bear Creek to the SunDome to cheer on the boys basketball team! Students may sign up to take the Rooter Bus. Parents will be contacted to confirm permission. The bus can take up to 45 students, and spots are first-come, first-served.
Note: There will be no school for Upper School students on Wednesday, March 4. All other divisions (PS/LS/MS) will remain in session, but excused absences will be granted to all students who want to travel with family to support the Grizzlies.
Arrival and Departure
Students should arrive at the Main building to load the bus by 8:45 a.m. Students will return to Bear Creek at about 5:30 p.m. Students will need to purchase game tickets for the WIAA 1A State Basketball Tournament online in advance. Students should also bring cash or a card to pay for snacks or food options while in Yakima.
