Bear Creek's Scholarship Program awards a number of merit-based scholarships to new, incoming domestic students in recognition of their talents, accomplishments, leadership, and character. We encourage all prospective students in grades 7, 9, and 10 to explore our scholarship offerings.
The Price Scholarship is named in honor of Dr. Nancy Price, Founder and Head of The Bear Creek School from 1988-2006. Her devotion to the classical ideals of truth, goodness, and beauty has endowed The Bear Creek School with a rich legacy of developing Christian scholars and leaders both now and for generations to come.
Price Scholarships are renewable and awarded to new, incoming grades 9 and 10 domestic students who exhibit Christian faith, academic excellence, and passionate servant leadership.
Blankenbeckler Leadership and Service Scholarship
The Blankenbeckler Scholarship is named in honor of Karen Blankenbeckler, Vice President for Academic Affairs, for her leadership and service to The Bear Creek School for more than 25 years. In honor of her ongoing service and exceptional dedication to our community, this scholarship is renewable and awarded to new, incoming grades 7 and 9 domestic students who express a spirit of leadership through service, influence and dedication to the lives of others. Blankenbeckler award recipients are motivated to influence the world in which they live by leading with wisdom, courage, and compassion.
The Innovation Scholarship is renewable and awarded to new, incoming grades 7 and 9 domestic students who demonstrate achievement in science, math, engineering, technological, and/or digital innovation and who demonstrate a desire to further develop and pursue ongoing innovation.
Coordination of Scholarships and Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance requires a separate application. We strongly encourage students applying for scholarships to also apply for tuition assistance in the event they are not selected as a scholarship recipient. Scholarships are considered as resources award to the family and are evaluated during the tuition assistance awarding process. Scholarships may reduce the overall tuition assistance awarded.
