Building and Event Accessibility

Upper School and DIAMOND Performing Arts Center

8525-208th Ave NE, Redmond

Three parking spots are available at the Upper School for those with a disabled permit. Additional disabled parking spaces are located at the Main Building. For some events, there are golf carts available for transportation between the Main Building parking lot and the Upper School, although the golf carts are not wheelchair accessible.

The Upper School building is fully accessible to patrons with physical mobility concerns. An elevator is available for second floor access, and the Diamond Performing Arts Center includes designated wheelchair seating areas. Please let us know you desire wheelchair seating in advance of an event by emailing events@tbcs.org. Accessible restrooms are located a short distance from the theater entrance.

The Diamond Performing Arts Center is also equipped with an innovative new assistive listening system for our patrons with hearing loss: the hearing loop system, a wireless technology that transmits speech or music on stage directly to theatergoers’ cochlear implants and hearing aids with T-coils. Patrons will hear sound picked up by the theater’s PA system rather than from the microphone in an implant or hearing aid, resulting in a clearer sound with less background noise.

For any further questions or concerns, please contact events@tbcs.org.
