Student-Initiated Clubs

Clubs and student-driven activities are a significant part of the Upper School experience for many students. Clubs provide activity outlets and social groups enabling students to share their creative passions and interests.

Some clubs tie indirectly into our curriculum by providing an additional outlet to pursue interest in a field. Other clubs are ancillary and academic in nature, building off our classical roots but allowing students to explore new topics.

Upper School students apply to start a club by developing a sustainable mission, securing a faculty mentor, and submitting an application. Clubs meet weekly or every other week during the school day.

I've been given the opportunity to start and lead a club... It's really grown me as a person by getting to work with a faculty advisor and thinking through all the logistics of running a club.
