Middle School (5 – 8)
Middle school students are curious, open, adventurous, vulnerable, and often unpredictable. To meet these needs, our Middle School program is predictable, supportive, fun, challenging, and caring. We recognize that students in grades 5 and 6 are developmentally different than students in grades 7 and 8, therefore, our daily and weekly schedules, curriculum, teaching strategies, and student life programs are tailored to meet those unique needs.

Our schedules are designed to meet the developmental needs of this age group. Recognizing that grades 5 and 6 students have different developmental needs than grade 7 and 8 they have their own unique schedule design. View a sample 5 and 6 daily schedule.
Grades 7 and 8 follow a more traditional, rotating schedule each week. This rotation allows students to take core classes such as English, history, and science, and also choose 1 – 2 electives each semester. The rotating schedule includes time for Advisory and clubs which support social-emotional wellness, enrich the curriculum, and offer students leadership opportunities.
