2025 Summer Reading Challenge

The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge is available for all students entering K – 12! Get creative with reading this summer to earn prizes from the library during the first week back at school. 

Simply download the challenges below (for the grade level your child will enter in the fall). As your child reads over the summer, check off completed items. Submit results online by August 25.

Step 2: Read

Use the checklist to get inspired to find new books and keep track of summer reading. The A-to-Z Super Challenge is open to all students for a bonus prize.

Step 3: Submit Results

The results form opens on June 23 and closes on August 25. Only results submitted via the online form by August 25 are accepted.

Step 4: Get Prizes!

K – 8 will be awarded a free dress day on Thursday, September 11, for completing the checklist challenge. Students in grades 9 – 12 can receive their prize from the library on Thursday, September 11. All students who complete the A-to-Z Super Challenge can come to the library during the first week of school for an additional prize.

Note: Accelerated ReaderTM is no longer a part of the Summer Reading Program. The Accelerated Reader program for the 2025 – 2026 school year begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
