President's Letter

As I reflect on the 2018 – 2019 school year, I am reminded of the many manifestations of a classical liberal arts education at Bear Creek. Each day teachers not only educate their students, but model a commitment to learning and to Christian virtue. Coaches help our athletes build both physical skills and resilience of character. Students find their voices through writing, acting on stage, singing, playing an instrument, creating art, or presenting an argument or opinion. Volunteers provide additional examples of wisdom, compassion, and courage by stepping beyond their own comfort zones to support students and build our school community.

While it is impossible to distill these moments that make up a school year into a set of figures, statistics, and data, this Annual Report for fiscal year 2018 – 2019 offers a glimpse into the work we do to help our students become the individuals God intends. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has invested their treasure, time, talent, and prayers to help create an extraordinary learning environment and community at The Bear Creek School.
