Upper School
Imagine living your life to the fullest, shaped by what really matters.
As a student at Bear Creek, you will pursue intellectual adventure within an intentional course progression that captures the liberal arts tradition. You will have the opportunity to explore the pillars of great western thought, sharpen your ability to think critically, and ask and shape answers to essential questions. You will become part of a student body that pursues academic challenge.
Course offerings at the Honors or Advanced Placement level allow students to build a foundation for collegiate success. You will be among a group of students who receive accolades and commendations in performing arts adjudications, athletic competitions, National Merit Scholar programs, Standardized testing performance, and collegiate scholarship recognition.
Our faculty members generate excitement for their subjects, walk deeply committed Christian lives, and relate to students in ways that create connections for life.
Bear Creek students build rich Upper School memories. Highlights include the two-day Icebreaker retreat, costume and formal dances, travel abroad and global mission opportunities, the junior biology field camp, the winter senior trip, senior theme days, chapel and worship, state-level athletic competitions, stage performances, debate tournaments, ski Fridays, and so much more.
You will have an opportunity to develop your potential in a community that allows you to flourish and grow into the person God intends.
From Shakespeare and Bach to Einstein and the Gospel writers, your life will grow richer by the day at Bear Creek.
I look forward to the opportunity to discuss what matters most to you during your high school years.
