Save the date for Auction 2014
Westin Bellevue
March 22, 2014
Your Role
Each Bear Creek family is expected to procure an item or items valued at $150 for the auction. The auction office supports you by offering procurement packets, ready for your signature, which you can drop off or mail to the prospective donors. Each packet contains a procurement form, generic solicitation letter and return and outer envelopes. We can prepare custom letters at your request.
How
Pick up procurement packets at either main office or print the procurement form. Call Linda Sheppard (425-898-1720 ext. 338) or Michele Herold (425-898-1720 ext. 337) if you have questions or would like to discuss your idea. See the Procurement and Sponsorship pages for more ideas.
What
The auction is the school’s largest community-building event and our second largest fundraiser. We invite all families to attend and will send an invitation to anyone for whom you provide an address. Think about inviting friends, family, neighbors, and other supporters from throughout the community. Hundreds of items will be available for bidding in Silent Auctions and a spectacular Live Auction. Auction 101: What to Expect?
Why
A portion of all proceeds from the auction goes to The Bear Creek School Endowment Fund. Additional monies are raised for a specific Fund-a-Need project. Recent Fund-a-Need projects have benefited the science department, the fine and performing arts department, a new floor in the Commons, and landscaping at Valley Campus.
When and Where
Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Grand Ballroom at the Westin Bellevue. Invitations will be mailed in late January and we expect over three hundred friends of Bear Creek to attend. How to attend and invite your friends.
Auction Meeting Schedule
Everyone, newcomers and experienced auction volunteers, is welcome to attend our monthly meetings held in the Farmhouse and publicized in The Bear Facts well in advance.
