Upper School Athletics

The Bear Creek School is a member of the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) and participates in athletics as a member of the Sea-Tac B League. Approximately 80% of our students participate in athletics.

Participation in athletics allows students to develop physical skills, learn game strategies, and most importantly, put into practice the concepts of teamwork and good sportsmanship. We provide quality programs that encourage the participation of a large population of our student body, and at the same time are able to emphasize the importance of self-discipline, commitment, and competition as parts of the athletic arena.

Section 15 of the Family Handbook contains all of the essential information regarding athletics at Bear Creek including a message from the athletic director, the Bear Creek athletics philosophy, a list of the different sports offerings, the student participation agreement, and student-athlete code.
