Next week there is no school for all students November 22-24. The main offices at both campuses are closed Wednesday through Friday for the holiday. The next issue of The Bear Facts will be published on Friday, December 1.

Competing on November 10 and 11 at the 12th Annual Snohomish Panthers Invitational at Snohomish HS, grade 8 students Alexander Diller and Bianca Quilliam were semi-finalists in novice public forum debate.

Competing on November 10 and 11 at the Snohomish Panthers Invitational at Snohomish HS, the Bear Creek forensics team came away with 11 State bids and 12 top-3 finishes in eight events. Read more for all the details.

Thank you, mateys! We appreciate the many parents and students who helped make the book fair a roaring success. Our estimated proceeds will be well over $3,000. Because of your generosity, the Bear Creek libraries will purchase books for our collection of treasures this winter. Read more for book fair contest winners.

Bear Creek's Upper School drama students will present An Evening of Mystery, three one-act plays based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, tonight, November 17 and tomorrow, November 18 with shows at 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM on both days in Cornerstone Theater.

At the 2017 1A Girls State Cross Country Championships on November 4 in Pasco, juniors Andrea Markezich and Olivia Markezich both earned medals for their performances in the 5K race. Andrea placed fourth with a time of 18:25.20, and Olivia ran a personal record time of 18:31.10 for a sixth place finish.

This weekly publication is distributed to all current parents, faculty, and staff. It is published on Friday afternoon each week when school is in session.
