On April 20, 2012, the Bear Creek math team competed at the regional grade 4 Math Is Cool competition in Des Moines and won the team competition in division II (smaller schools).

Andrew H. earned the second place award in division II.
With this win, the grade 4 team has qualified to compete in the statewide Math Is Cool Masters competition on May 19 in Moses Lake. Congratulations!
