Important News and Announcements
The entire Bear Creek community is invited to attend the Class of 2016 Commencement exercises on Saturday, June 11 at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. Tickets are available in a main office near you.

Check out the photos on vidigami.com from class parties, honors assemblies, Field Day, and this weekend's Commencement events. If you took photos at these events, please upload to share with the school community! You are encouraged to tag your child(ren) to create a photo record of the school year.

Yesterday, all parents who had not yet activated their accounts were sent an activation reminder. Look for an email from support@vidigami.com. Contact Sini Fernandez (sfernandez@tbcs.org) if you have any questions.

Although sale prices are only guaranteed through tomorrow, June 10, you may place orders online until July 12 at regular prices. School-Paks are available for preschool through grade 12. Order your 2016-2017 school supplies in bulk and avoid the hassle of running around town this summer. Read the flyer or visit tbcs.org/schoolsupplies for pricing and a link to our online vendor.

Drop off used uniforms on June 14 and 15 under the stairs in the Main Building. Read the flyer for all the instructions, especially which items will and will not be accepted for resale. Print your own clothing labels to prepare the items you want to sell. Sponsored by our PTF.

It's not too late to register for Bear Creek Summer Camp! We will keep registration open throughout the duration of this year's Summer Camp and some camps (especially sports and athletics) even welcome walk-in registrations on Day 1 of camp. However, since some camps are close to capacity, we recommend that you register sooner rather than later. To learn more and register your child for camp, go to www.tbcs.org/summer.

Mark your summer calendar for the used and new uniform sales on August 3. DENNIS School Uniform has expanded its sale hours from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Main Commons. PTF-sponsored Used Uniform Sale runs from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM in the Gym. Uniform guidelines are available at tbcs.org/schooluniforms.

Ask your parents to save the date of Wednesday, October 19, 2016 so they can come and visit their grandchild at Bear Creek on Grandparents Day. Detailed information will be sent to grandparents this summer, so please be sure their contact information on your Family Profile is up to date. Bear Creek sets aside this special day to honor and celebrate the unique relationship between grandparents and their grandchild(ren) in grades K-12.

Have you volunteered in the classroom, chaperoned a field trip or ski day, or baked for an event? Numerous local companies recognize volunteer time through the donation of cash grants to non-profits for which their employees volunteer. This means that for each hour you volunteer, your employer may donate money to The Bear Creek School. Check with your human resources department for more information about your employer's program and how to participate.

Did you make a charitable donation to The Bear Creek School for Reach UP: The Campaign for Bear Creek, the Annual Fund, Walk-a-thon, or the auction this year? Would you like to see your gift do twice as much for Bear Creek? If your employer has a matching gift program remember to take advantage of it and double the impact of your contribution.

The success of our annual auction depends on the participation of each family in our school community, and we encourage every family to procure one item valued at $150 or more. Summer is a great time to solicit items and gift certificates for the auction. Print out a few Procurement Forms and keep them in your car. Click the article title for more ideas.
